What is Dispatcher?▾
Dispatcher is a free website that connects homeowners in Malaysia with local contractors. You tell us the job, and contractors who cover your area can see your request and may contact you. You choose who to hire, or no one.
Is Dispatcher free?▾
Yes. During launch it is free for homeowners and contractors.
Does Dispatcher do the work?▾
No. Dispatcher never installs or repairs anything. The work is done by the contractor you choose, and you agree the price and terms directly with them.
Where does Dispatcher work?▾
We focus on Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, including Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Cheras and Wangsa Maju. We accept requests from anywhere in Malaysia, but there may be fewer contractors outside the Klang Valley.
How are contractors listed in results?▾
We show local businesses for the job and area you asked about. The order is set by Dispatcher and may change. Dispatcher has not checked any licences yet, so no listing is verified. Ask to see a licence before you hire.
How do I stop you contacting me or remove my request?▾

How do I get quotes?▾
Type what you need, answer 1–3 quick taps, pick your area, then enter your name and phone number. That’s it.
Which businesses can I ask?▾
Local businesses that cover your job and area. Each one decides whether to quote.
How fast will contractors reply?▾
It depends on the contractor and the job. Many reply within a day, but we can’t promise a time.
What happens if a contractor can’t take my job?▾
If you ticked “send it to another one automatically”, we pass your request to another contractor, so other businesses can still see it. You choose this on the request form.
Who sees my name and phone number?▾
Only the contractors who are quoting for you, so they can contact you about the job. Once you hire one, the others can no longer see your details.
Do I have to hire anyone?▾
No. Getting quotes is free and you are never obliged to hire.
How do I avoid scams?▾
Only deal with contractors shown on your job page. Dispatcher will never ask you to pay a deposit to Dispatcher.
Contractors
Who can join?▾
Anyone offering home services in Malaysia can sign up. You don’t need a licence to join.
How much does it cost?▾
Nothing during launch.
Do I need a licence to quote?▾
Not to join. Some jobs, like electrical wiring, legally need the right registration in Malaysia. Licence checks (and a Verified badge) are planned for later; nobody is verified on Dispatcher today.
